ReConnected Life
I’m a survivor of rape. I’m also a coach and NLP Master Practitioner, and I set up my business ReConnected Life to help other survivors find their way back from living one day at a time, to living a full life again.
As well as my coaching and guided self-help programmes, I speak out for survivors whenever I can, to break the silence and challenge the stigma of rape. This is about speaking out and breaking the silence.
I support survivors in my private Facebook Community, giving them a place where they can share, and be heard, and be understood. The isolation of the silence in rape hurts. Community heals.
This book, To Report Or Not To Report, Survivor Testimony of the (In)Justice System is written by the ReConnected Life Community, for all survivors everywhere.
It has chapters about why we didn’t report.
And chapters about what happened when we did.
And, finally, it also has chapters from those who are supporting us within the Justice System.
It’s for those who know.
And those who want to understand.
It’s time to break the silence.
Bust through the myths.
And through understanding & compassion, create a world where survivors are supported in their recovery.
One where peace can be found, and justice isn’t a pipe dream.
